Hi, I need some recommendations to help put all the pieces together for
our wedding in Annapolis next spring. I live in the Baltimore area, and
need any recommendations for people/firms who can help with the following:

1) Wedding invitations
2) Musician (specifically, a classical quartet of some kind)
3) Dressmakers

If you want to cut down on noise in these newsgroups, e-mail me the
answers and I'll post a summary when I've got the information...
otherwise, reply here...

Thanks for your help,
----->Mike

Oh, yeah, and I almost forgot photographers...

Thanks again,

Mike,

I can't speak to your need for wedding invitations or dressmakers in the
Baltimore area, though I expect that a good printing shop will be able to
help with invitations.

I wanted to offer an idea to you and anyone else looking for musicians of
the classical kind:

Contact the music school at the nearest college! In Baltimore, the
Peabody School of music isn't that far away; it has some EXCELLENT
musicians, who are always looking for a "gig" like a wedding. I promise
that if you look to these starving artists, you won't be disappointed!

You'd be amazed at how many people have suggested this. I've already
spoken to the Peabody school, and I'm pretty sure they'll be able to hook
us up with somebody good. (They gave me a list of people who fit our
criteria, so now I have to contact them to see how good they are...)

Now, anybody know a good photographer in Baltimore??

Thanks for the help,

I found (and hired) a super guy!! Very laid back and very talented.
His packages run from $895 upwards to $2000. His name is Ray Persinger
and he is a full time wedding photographer with a couple of assistants.
He works from his home in Catonsville, MD -- a Baltimore suburb off of
the Baltimore Beltway (695). He goes everywhere with no travel fee!
Definately call him, you will be thrilled with his photos and hopefully
you'll eliminate the weeks of hunting for a photographer that I went
through. I'm at work, so I don't have his number handy.
But the name is Ray Persinger Photography
and the location is Catonsville, MD

If you get a chance, tell him Tonya DeCesaris and Gene Nevin (wedding
date Oct. 19, 1996) referred you.

Thanks, Tonya. I appreciate the tip... I'll definitely drop your name
if/when I give this guy a call.
