[Q, REPOST]Jewelers Balt/DC

I'm reposting this as I think there were some config problems with
my mail reader yesterday...
-------
I am looking for:
	1)A women's watch
	2)Wedding bands

Can anyone recommend any jewelers in the Balt./DC (preferably closer to
Balt./Owings Mills/Pikesville) area. For the watch, I am not looking for
anything terribly expensive (in fact, as far as nice watches go, I am
probably looking for something that would be considered very inexpensive
-- I'm not looking for a Gucci, Cartier, etc... etc..., more like a
nice Seiko etc...). I will also be having the watch engraved.
As for the wedding bands, just looking for one or two places with a good
selection --- POSSIBLY we might have something custom made.

Just flipping through the Balt. area yellow pages a couple of
places that caught my eye were:
	Bromwell & Brown (Pikesville)
	Dahne and Weinstein (Greenspring Station)
	S. Sanders (ad lists watches I would be interested in)

You can either post here, or reply and I'll summarize.
Thanks!

If you find anything in these areas can you also tell me. I'm
looking for a 24k gold wedding band.

Although Burke, VA is about as far away from the Balt area, we have a jeweler
there we have been using for over 10 years. They do custom work and sell
a great product at a great price.

We have always used Prince jewelers in Baltimore City. Ask for Gary Prince.

Be prepared for a long search--or are you expecting a short marriage?

Twenty-four carat gold is pure gold; it wears about like pure lead--some
part would be worn away in a few years. Gold jewelry is alloyed not
merely for economy but for properties that pure gold doesn't have, such
as durability. Eighteen carat is considered the best for rings.

Not sure about watches and wedding bands, but we bought my engagement
ring at J. Brown Jewelers in Reisterstown and we really liked the place.
They have a great selection of nearly everything and the salesperson we
worked with was not pushy but extremely helpful.

No affiliation, just a satisfied customer!

Good luck,
LJS
