Obsolete:- gone out of fashion, out-of-date, no longer used. I do not think so, one only has to go to a library, school or book shop to see that this is far from the truth. Please also be aware that libraries are not just storerooms for books, they have computers with internet access, and staff to help train you. Video games, CDs and video cassettes are all part of their holdings as well. Library staff are highly trained to help answer questions (free of charge), and encourage people to continue to learn. Libraries are also great meeting places and are very community minded. There will never be a time when we no longer need libraries, because they are continually evolving to meet our needs, and are usually the first to embrace change and pass the advantages onto their clients.
