I have a question I am hoping somebody could answer for me.

Publishers of dictionaries and encyclopedias oftern include fake terms in
their works to catch plagiarizers. What are these bogus terms called?

Please e-mail responses to ircolman@descartes.uwaterloo.ca.

Thanks in advance.
