Although this thread turned into a discussion of guns, I would
recommend that you move to a safe Senior community.  There are some
for low income people.  For instance in Stockton, there is the old
Stockton Hotel and you have to earn less than $12,000/yr to qualify
for it.  There is no doubt a waiting list of a year or more, but if
so, you need to get on the list now.  There are some of these low
income projects in most parts of the country.
