Request for Contributions from Transgendered Pagans

I've recently been corresponding with a new friend overseas via the
net. Amoung our discussions was my describing myself as a Gallae.

Gallae are transgendered followers and priestesses of the Goddess*.
Now how could I justify this when the last of the original Gallae died
out centuries ago, that there was no existing line of succession,
say, as there was within the Catholic Church?

This I found was a really important question for me. And in answering
it I brought into focus things which I'd known, but not put into words
before. I'm currently in the process of writing an article for "Witch
Craft" (a glossy Australian Magazine about paganism) about
transgendered Gods and transgendered pagans, and am looking for
contributions to this.

What I'm after is a one or two paragraph description of what being
either a Gallae, or a transgendered pagan, means to you.

If you are either a Gallae, or a transgendered pagan, or know someone
who is (and would be prepared to write to me via your email
connection) I'm asking for a contribution from / via you. Please send
it to me via PRIVATE email, rather than posting it to this list or
newsgroup. I will probably reproduce between 5 to 10 of these in the
article (with whatever penname you choose, if you desire).

In addition to the article, I will also include *all* of these these
on a new page at my website the Pantheon. If you wish, you can also
send me a single URL/email address, which I'll include after your
contribution on the page (and in the reference section of the article,
if you desire).

I'm serious about this. It really doesn't matter if most of the
contributions I get seem contradictory either -- because the nature of
one's relationship with the divine is a personal one, it follows that
descriptions of such are going to be as wide and as varied as people's
experiences.

* I'm sending this to several lists, some of which while dealing
with transgender issues are not really focussed on spirituality or
religious ones, and others that deal with religion and
spirituality, but not focussed on transgender ones. If you want to
know what a Gallae is, look at my webpage at
