I've ignore the lies and insults about "right-wing extremism" and elaborate on part of why you're wrong above. The LEGISLATURE WRITES LAWS that define punishment for violations of laws. Courts are established to hear the arguments about the laws and to oversee trials to establish in a jury's view whether laws were violated. LEGISLATURES specify penalties; juries and judges may choose, but from what they're allowed to choose by the laws. How foolish or unethical of you to think courts do what legislatures really do. But then, so many losers out there do see it as normal, even desireable for the judiciary to arrogate (not merely have wrongly delegated to it) the power of the legislature. I suppose you really are so foolish or unethical to deny the phrase "legislation from the bench" is accurate. The Left in the USA is not only intellectually vacant when it sees nothing wrong with judicial activism, but morally vacant as well when it supports it.
