Hi,

I have a Taxan 9-pin dot matrix printer that is no longer being made, and
for which ribbons seem no longer to be available through stationery stores,
computer stores, etc. Does any one know of any kind of distributor that
specializes in ribbons for older printers? Or alternately, is there any way
one can re-ink and re-use old dot matrix printer ribbons? It would seem
a real pity to have to junk a perfectly solid, reliable old printer just
because I'm not able to find a new ribbon! Any ideas would be much
appreciated!

Many thanks,
Dave Porter

Try giving Inmac 1.800.547.5444 a call. They stock lots of ribbons
though all of them are probably overpriced.

I dont have the address, but you can order just about any ribbons imaginable
from American Ribbon Company... I see their advertisement in the computer
magazines every one in a while...
