it's been a while since this question has been around in
these newsgroup so i thought i'd bring it up. :-)

anyhow, my eyesight has been getting worse and worse over
the past couple years. i'm guessing that reading and working
in front of the computer has contributed to the deterioration
of my far eyesight. i'm interested in finding a good
optometrist at reasonable prices so that i could get:

   (a) eye exam
   (b) contacts (most likely daily extended wear, although
i'm not sure of what all is out there)
   (c) extra pair of glasses

the optometrist would hopefully be honest enough not to
try to cheat/over charge someone who knows nothing about
eye glasses and contacts. therefore, any positive or
negative recomendations would be appreciated. i will
post a summary of the responses i receive but will not
include the individual names of respondants.

						thanx,
						francis
