At about 10:30am today (3rd February 1993) a small electrical fire broke
out in the University Computing Center Building (H08) at the University
of Sydney.

As a precaution, while the electrician fixed the fault, most of the
computing equipment within the building was shutdown. All services were
restored by 12:00 noon. The following services may have been affected :-

	AARnet connections in and out of the University of Sydney.
	Connections to any computers within Information Services
	Domain name service on SydNET
	Connections to all remote campus sites.
	The dialin modem pool
	X.25 service
