Powerbook Problem/StyleWriter Problem

I was wondering if anyone else has faced the same problem. My
Powerbook 140 puts my hard drive/system to "sleep" to conserve power
but when I "wake" it up by clicking on the menu bar it sometimes
crashes my computer (i.e., throws me into MacBugs mode). What's going
on?? What am I doing wrong??

Also, my StyleWriter does not seem to be printing to par. Every so
often it crunches some letters (i.e., flattens the top of the
letters). Is this a printhead problem or what?? Any suggestions??
(Incidentally, I have the StyleWriter Driver v.7.2.2)
