I have two great seats available for the American Conservatory Theatre production of Tartuffe for Sunday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m. for sale. What: Tartuffe, by Moliere Where: Geary Theatre, San Francisco When: Sunday, June 27, 8:00 p.m. How (much?): $84.00, includes two tickets ($38.00 a piece, plus an $8.00 parking voucher for the Hilton Towers parking garage 1 1/2 blocks from the theatre). This is my cost, without paying my extra subscription processing costs. Why: I have a season subscription, but will be busy that weekend. This is a great chance to get excellent seats for the show. Thanks, Lori by Molire directed by Charles Randolph-Wright June 17-July 18 A.C.T. is proud to present its first production in 32 years of Molire's comic masterpiece Tartuffe, the play that launched A.C.T. to local and national prominence back in 1967. This production, combining Molire's caustically funny perspective on 17th-century religious hypocrisy with director Charles Randolph-Wright's irreverent vision of contemporary America, promises to be completely original and utterly exciting from start to finish. With L. Peter Callender as the pompous Clante, Steven Anthony Jones as the credulous dupe Orgon, and Shona Tucker as his seductive wife, Elmire, Tartuffe will reunite much of the cast of last season's sensational Insurrection: Holding History. A boldly theatrical play for all times, with an amazing ensemble cast, Tartuffe in 1999 will be incisive, merciless, and hilarious. Please respond via email, if interested: lori.anderson@sun.com
