This position is to work in the Technology Development Group
of Sun Microsystems, Inc. The technology group is investigating
new technologies for future products. This group is working on
Scalable Multiprocessor Systems.

TO03-LOGIC DESIGNER-Will do logic design and implimentation
of a directory based cache controller which is part of a 
distributed shared memory multiprocessor.

The ideal candidate must have 5 or more years of experience 
with chip level; and system level simulation, logic synthesis
and timing analysis. Requires an undersatanding of ASIC design
issues such as clock distribution, macrocell based logic design,
timing characterization and testability, especially scan based
methodologies. Verilog and Synopsis experience preferred. 
BS/MS EE or equivalent.
