Strunz & Farah is a pair of acoustical guitarists. On Jan 11th they will be playing at Stanford as part of the Lively Arts series. The concert is at 8pm in Memorial Auditiorium. I have one ticket for sale. Orchestra, row L, seat 108. I paid $22, it's yours for $20! Here's what the program sez about them: They've been called the planet's most gifted acoustic guitarists. Understatement! The music of Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah burns with Latin passion that will light your fire. Their vision of world music is primal - igniting magical folk themes from South America and the Caribbean, Spain and the Middle East. They create a dazzling musical landscape "rolling with flamenco thunderclaps." (Musician) They'll zap you with blinding speed and the virtuosity that keeps their _Primal Magic_ high on the Billboard charts. The two guitarists, both brilliant composers, are joined by Guillermo Guzman, bass; Lewis Perez, pre-Colombian winds and percussion; Carlos Gomez, congas and percussion; and Paul Tehonga, drums. Sizzling Saturday night! Soren
