We plow money hand over fist in to everything that we have a whim about.
But when it comes to us actually making a common sense decision on
something like education we all stick our heads in the sand.WHY DONT WE
LOOK AT WHAT EVERY OTHER DEVELOPED AND DEVELOPING COUNTRY IS DOING AND
LEARN.Education is the key to our future, get with it guys. As they say
with the management circles "you've got to pay more to attract good
quality". Sydney Grammar is a fine example, it could be said to be one
of the finest schools in Sydney and it it pays the highest wages in
Australia (which isn't saying much I might add) so that it can get the
best. Look at its academic results ?? I know that this is a very
simplistic arguement but it must have its merits.

Also, will all these people who constantly talk about lazy teachers just
give it a break, what a useless arguement. There is good and bad
everywhere, don't just focus on the bad.

By the way, Australia spend about the third lowest amount per capita on
Education in the western world. Need I say more???
