The Gimli festival is a world renound hotspot for avant-garde cinema. Visual art: The Group of Seven are among the greatest landscape artists ever. (Lismer,Jackson,Varley,Harris,etc...) Architecture: Joseph Cardinal, Moshe Safdi are among the greatest living architects Literature: Robertson Davies, Mordeccai Richler, Margeret Lawrence and Margeret Atwood This is not meant to be a "My daddy could beat up you daddy" whine or a statement that Canada is somehow better than anywhere else (Though the U.N. says it is HA! HA! HA! HA!). I am merely sick of all this Canadian Culture=screaming-hockey-molson-drinking-Bob+Doug Mackenzie-have-another brewski-EH!-being-cold bullshit.
