There is a Just God.  That you don't believe in Him shows.
     I bet that Reagan and John Paul II will never retract their
positions, and even on their deathbeds will not recant their positions,
even if they were offered the opportunity to retroactively allow the
research -- even if they were guaranteed that they would be cured from
their selling out their beliefs.
     Of course, the price would just be their souls, ......
     I haven't heard anything about Pope John Paul II having
Parkinson's.  I hope it's not true, but if he does, I'm sure that he will
never claim that he should have consented to have babies harvested to
help him live.
     We call that integrity, faith, and loyalty to principle.  It's
admirable and honorable.  Regrettably, they are going to be made
martyrs.  But we won't betray their cause just because they are lost to us.
