Hello, Mexicans will be marching on May 1 (May Day), so what is tomorrow all about? Something very fishy about all this . . . I feel it is a trap . . . a trap for whom i know not, so all stay out of it. May Day: It was a major holiday in the Soviet Union and other Communist countries, and also in many other parts of the world. Even in today's Russia, it is an annual holiday devoted to the recognition of working people's contribution to society. A unique display of the most modern weapons and seemingly endless troops of soldiers is held in Moscow, the capital of Russia on this day. [Notice the military nature of it] This is Communism: ...Let the winds lift your banners from far lands With a message of strife and of hope: Raise the Maypole aloft with its garlands That gathers your cause in its scope.... ...Stand fast, then, Oh Workers, your ground, Together pull, strong and united: Link your hands like a chain the world round, If you will that your hopes be requited. When the World's Workers, sisters and brothers, Shall build, in the new coming years, A lair house of life--not for others, For the earth and its fulness is theirs. Walter Crane, The Workers' Maypole, 1894 http://www.marxists.org/subject/art/visual_arts/satire/crane/crane13.htm "STRIFE" . . . ???? Is this what Mexico has in mind? World Workers, whatever may bind ye, This day let your work be undone: Cast the clouds of the winter behind ye, And come forth and be glad in the sun. Now again while the green earth rejoices In the bud and the blossom of May Lift your hearts up again, and your voices, And keep merry the World's Labour Day. Let the winds lift your banners from far lands With a message of strife and of hope: Raise the Maypole aloft with its garlands That gathers your cause in its scope. It is writ on each ribbon that flies That flutters from fair Freedom's heart: If still far be the crown and the prize In its winning may each take a part. Your cause is the hope of the world, In your strife is the life of the race, The workers' flag Freedom unfurled Is the veil of the bright future's face. Be ye many or few drawn together, Let your message be clear on this day; Be ye birds of the spring, of one feather In this--that ye sing on May-Day. Of the new life that still lieth hidden, Though its shadow is cast before; The new birth of hope that unbidden Surely comes, as the sea to the shore. Stand fast, then, Oh Workers, your ground, Together pull, strong and united: Link your hands like a chain the world round, If you will that your hopes be requited. When the World's Workers, sisters and brothers, Shall build, in the new coming years, A lair house of life--not for others, For the earth and its fulness is theirs. Rosa Luxemburg What Are the Origins of May Day? The happy idea of using a proletarian holiday celebration as a means to attain the eight-hour day was first born in Australia. The workers there decided in 1856 to organize a day of complete stoppage together with meetings and entertainment as a demonstration in favor of the eight-hour day. The Fight for the Shorter Workday The origin of May Day is indissolubly bound up with the struggle for the shorter workday--a demand of major political significance for the working class. This struggle is manifest almost from the beginning of the factory system in the United States. Although the demand for higher wages appears to be the most prevalent cause for the early strikes in this country, the question of shorter hours and the right to organize were always kept in the foreground when workers formulated their demands against the bosses and the government. As exploitation was becoming intensified and workers were feeling more and more the strain of inhumanly long working hours, the demand for an appreciable reduction of hours became more pronounced. Continued at: http://www.marxists.org/subject/mayday/ Labor Day/May Day Why should the American working man celebrate Labor Day in September when the workers of the world are celebrating it on May first in commemoration of American Martyrs to the labor movement? This question is clarified by the fact that May first is observed unilaterally by workers (not by management), while the September holiday is enjoyed by all, perpetuating the myth that Labor and Management are both working together. The proclamation of Labor Day in September in the United States can only be interpreted as an effort to isolate the working American from his colleagues around the world, and obscure the history of what Management did to Labor in Chicago in 1886. Labor Day in the United States is better described as mocking than celebrating the working man in America. Continued on: http://www.cs.uni.edu/~campbell/gened/labour.html All in all my thoughts on this is both are right. If i hire someone to work for me and the law says "minimum wage", i feel i should pay that minimum wage. Also there should be laws protecting workers and laws protecting the people doing the hiring. Laws, not mob rule, are what our Nation is. Our Nation, America, is a Republic. We are a Nation of laws, and courts to back up those laws. So what is the first thing the Mexicans do when they get here? They start a Communist march (mob rule). The Employers are the ones that should go to jail for breaking their Nation's laws by hiring illegals. The employers are the responsible ones, not the illegals. The employers are what entice the illegals into the Country. Hello, Well today, the day the "Mexicans" are "marching" all over our Nation, i have to take my friend, who had the open-heart surgery, into town to see the Doc. It still makes no sense: If they are going to march on MayDay, why are they "marching" today? This makes no sense . . . iam very worried . . . scared even . . . Under normal circumstances i wouldhave stayed indoors today, checking to see that my powder was dry. What the L is normal about that or the "circumstances"?! Truly

It's communists that are responsible for steroid abuse. The East German Olympic team started using steroids, the Russian Olympic teams started using steroids. There was a steroid gap. So of course the American Olympic teams had to start using steroids. Now, thirty years later, we have baseball players using such huge doses of performance-enhancing drugs that it takes two coaches to hold the syringe and a third to push in the plunger. Baseball, the Great American game, being destroyed by Communist steroids. Next thing you know, they're going to start training baseball players in Cuba, then shipping them to the US with new steroid formulations to complete the destruction. The two major countries in the world that have taken an interest in American baseball are CUBA and JAPAN. Is it any wonder that baseball players are rapidly succumbing to the lures of steroids and amphetamines? --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis."
