Well, you could profit from closer attention to the issue.  A major
contention of those who object to oversize SUVs is their effect on
their own drivers' mentalities.  The sheer size of these behemoths
tends to create in their drivers a sense of impregnability which often
seems to be followed by a near-total disregard for the rights of other
drivers.  

Far be it from me to defend the average Mustang or Camaro driver, btw,
but I think their own particular psychological problems are different
in kind and in magnitude from those of the average SUV driver.

FWIW, I have driven SUVs and noticed the sme effect on myself, and I
am a notoriously kind and gentle human being. </sarcasm>
