Dear Readers, I am looking for people who have converted a Chevy S10 pickup truck from IC to electric using the kit available from the Solar Car Corporation, Melbourne, FL. I would like to have answers for the following questions before I invest in this project. What is your range with the vehicle? How difficult did you find the conversion? Any particular problems with the kit? Which options did you purchase with the kit? What base vehicle did you use? How did you finance your conversion? (applicable to anyone who has done a IC to EV conversion.) Please send replies.
