=o= Jeepers, a Chlorine Industry front group on the Infotainment
Superhypeway. Everyone's dream come true!

=o= My basic position on chlorine products is that, while they
may be unquestionably effective, they're also pretty dangerous.
If there are alternatives, the alternatives should be used
instead. Greenpeace claims has a list of alternatives to all
uses of chlorine. Care to comment on that list?

=o= Since you're on the line here, perhaps you could give us
some insight into the industry. A few years ago, Clorox was
working on a "Crisis Management Plan," in the event of a major
disaster (think Bhopal) during the production of chlorine
products. I had a look at this document, and it was rather
candid about the possibility of such a disaster. Care to
comment on that?

=o= (Alas, the "Management Plan" contained nothing about
protecting the public or the environment from such a disaster.
It was all about avoiding bad PR from it. Part of the "Plan"
was to use the media to trash scientists who are concerned
about chlorine use, and to promote loyal scientists who would
tout little reason for concern. Care to comment on that?)
