The answer has been provided by you - at http://www.susps.org : "Gelbaum rewarded the Club with total donations to the Sierra Club Foundation exceeding $100 million." The battle for leadership of the Sierra club isn't about immigration or population - it's about who controls that $100 million and a lot more besides, and for what purpose.
