Let's compare North Arlington, VA, which has had I66 running through it for about 20 years, with NE Washington DC, which was "spared" its freeway; one scheduled for the same construction period. Density is about the same in both cases. Let's compare changes in property value, business starts/failures, school SAT scores, and crime rates. We can compare some other statistics if you'd like.
