Might have to agree to disagree with you on that one, Madeleine.  I
appreciate talk.euthanasia might not be the forum, suffice to say all
four eyewitness accounts and independent historians all state that he
was crucified.

Well, from what I understand they were usually left on the cross for
as long as it took - sometimes several days.  The point of crucifixion
wasn't just to kill, but to kill *slowly* and *painfully*, as a
punishment and as a deterrent to other would-be offenders.
