Well it made the front page of the Australian. along with follow-up
articles inside.

My feeling is that the sooner the whole subject becomes of less interest
to the media
the more opportunity there will be for those seeking this option to do
so without
the added burden of sensationalism.

Anyone who makes such an enormous decision must be in a desperate
situation.  Given
that it cannot be acted on legally without close scrutiny by competent
suppliers of the means to achieve the desired result, I do not subscribe
to the view that it is a
matter with which outsiders should concern themselves.

So roll on the time euthanasia is left to those personally involved;
this would be so much more manageable for the unfortunate people who
choose to make the ultimate irrevocable decision.
