Is it someone who prefers big government to a smaller one ?  Is it
someone who believes a big government is within it's rights to launch
a pre-emtive war ?    Is it a person who believes Federal tax policy
should be used as a social and political engineering tool ?    Is it a
person who staffs the Pentagon and the NSC with 1960s Radicals ?    Is
it a person who depends more on the Courts and less on the will of the
people ?   Is it a person who will lie and then bribe an underling to
take the hit ?    Is it a man who will dodge active service during a
war  and then send his young betters to fight and die for his
political goals ?    Is it a man who can crawl drunk across the floor
of a Texas whorehouse one year and strut across the deck of an
aircraft carrier another ?  Is a liberal the sort of man who will
promise that, given the chance,  he will pack the Supreme Court with
idealogues ?    Is a liberal a man who will stand by and watch as a
maimed young woman soldier is used as a  propaganda  stooge ?    Isn't
a liberal a man who spent most of the late1960s and early 1970s in a
drunken stupor ?   Is a liberal a man who thinks M L King is a role
model ?    Is a liberal a man, who learning that his Capitol has been
bombed, will fly from Florida first to Louisiana and then to Nebraska
searching for a safe hiding place while people are dying in DC  ? 

These are a few of the traits I was always taught to look for in a
Liberal.    How about you ?    I remember a guy we use to call
"Chapequidic Teddy" who was of that general sort.  Morally speaking.
