Will Joseph "Gray" Davis win the California governor race
with over 50% of the vote?
If not, can Gray-out consider that a mandate?

What would be interesting is the percentage of the CA population that votes for him. Maybe 6%? If this crap keeps up, the next governor will be neither Democrat nor Republican.

According to bipartisan reports, and understanding that it's undecided as to whether or not he'll run, CA's next Gov will be Schwarzenegger (a life-long Repub)... In 2006 that is. Despite the fact that I plan to vote for Simon, CA is leftist enough to vote their boy back into office... Either way, from what I've read/seen/heard from both sides is Schwarzenegger - no matter how much of a joke you might see him as - is poised to win any election he might enter, due to his outlook, dedication, and sheer charisma... From all reports, he brings a level of optimism and can-do attitude not seen since Reagan, and that can mean a lot to people jaded by the elections of the last few years will vote for him based on his passionate ideas and ideals, which he has every intention of fulfilling to the best of his ability. (And btw, to you Reagan haters, Reagan won by a landslide... Presentation means a lot, and Schwarzenegger has the right presentation.)
