Heard on Geraldo live the other day that it was indicated in some custody papers
filed by Nicole's parents that they (Nicole and the kids) were living with OJ
as recently as 19 days before the murders. Would this seem to help or hurt OJ's
case?
Also heard:
OJ will apparently take the stand in his own defense. Good or bad?
The prosecution is apparently building this as a stalking case, meaning there
may be some additional evidence allowed that wouldn't otherwise be. Anyone know
details?
The mystery witness who came forward apparently has some credibility problems -
he says he was 'casing' the neighborhood to pull off a robbery when he saw two
white men leaving the vicinity of Nicole's townhome. He's volunteered to take
a polygraph. If you're the defense, do you call this witness to further the
confusion, or do you leave him alone?
Just musing...

Well, what I'm about to tell you has already been reported in scads of newspapers/telecasts/etc, but here it goes: The "mystery witness" does, indeed, have credibility problems. Besides his lengthy criminal past, he has also confessed to the murder of a New York mafia boss (the guy Gotti is in jail for killing) and several other "high profile" crimes. The defense, last I heard, had dropped him as a potential witness. This is what happens when you offer big bucks for "evidence." dbongard@ucsd.edu Daniel Bongard
