Dear Colleague: I am pleased to announce the release of ChemicaLogic SteamTab Companion a free, fully functional, and full-range Win32 look-up application for ascertaining the thermodynamic and transport properties of steam and water. And, just like SteamTab itself, Companion is based on the current international standard - the IAPWS-95 formulation. SteamTab Companion is a compact, single executable file of 269 Kbytes that will run on any Windows 95/98/NT platform. The only limitation is that property values generated in SteamTab Companion are for viewing only and can not be cut and pasted into another application. To download your own free copy of SteamTab Companion, please visit: (http://www.chemicalogic.com/steamtab/companion/default.htm) Once you discover the ease and value of at-hand steam and water property values, you will see the value of being able to access, and maintain a live link with accurate steam and water property functions in spreadsheet applications. At that point, you will want to examine other ChemicaLogic SteamTab products that bring to your own spreadsheet application, one or more of the prevailing steam property formulations (IAPSW-95, IAPWS-97IF, NBS/NRC-84, IFC-67): (http://www.chemicalogic.com/steamtab/default.htm) When it comes to instant access to accurate steam properties in your proprietary applications, please consider ChemicaLogic SteamTab SDK products. They are the Gold Standard for steam and water properties -- well maintained, thoroughly tested and highly robust.
