Carfax didn't come up with the info on my van either...
It came up clean & it has front end collision damage that was 
not properly repaired & I had to get it fixed.
Then the damn engine gaskets went at 90K...

Carfax is not a good one to use...  Especially in Canada.
They won't back up their lemon inurance either...
IMHO - Its not worth wasting money on.
