	but there is a repeated theme:  usenet is a worldwide phenomenon 
used by millions of people.

	and there are a (very) few people here at tfn who appear to be 
advocating this phenomenon adapt to their demands.

	let me repeat:  this is patently absurd.  the loudest of the 
objectors are relative newbies.  these are the ones who have to accept 
news is a phenomenon to itself.  

	the participants determine what is acceptable and what is not.  
not the wanna be kia mennies.
