Nabil is *SO* dedicated to his cause that he is quite willing to die for his
beliefs. Nabil seems to be imply that Gard's life was in danger which is why
he resigned from the Toronto Free-Net.

This is nice. These so-called "death threats" makes the Nabster *SURE* that
his "investigations" are achieving results.

One must understand that by "investigations" the Mad Falcon really means
"hallucinations"... and even still this is hilarious.

First off, the so-called death threat was issued as part of on going flame war
between Nabil, an ex-roomate of his and the ex-roommate's friend, the war
heated up recently with Nabil holding his ex-roommate's mail hostage (most
notably a GST tax return check) which resulted in the ex-roommate's friend
issuing the obviously forged "death threat," basically it's an issue from
Nabil's own personal life.

His "investigations," as he calls them, are his incessant, endless,
incomprehensible, mind-bogling, delusional rants that he posts dozens at a
time to two local newsgroups; tor.general and torfree.general.

While nobody is quite sure what the allegations are that Nabil is
"investigating" he rants on and on about how evil the local Free-Net is and
how it's volunteer managers are sinister schemers bent on preventing Nabil
from saving the TFN and the world.

Nabil, of course firmly believes that the world would be a much better place
if the "Higher Authorities" would only listen to him and take his
"investigations' seriously. This "death threat" is his key.

Nabil imagines himself to be a crusader, a brave soldier, and as he often
describes himself a "visionary"

He shall never quite jousting at windmills, because if he did he would have to
stare into the futile emptiness that is his life.
  
In summary, Nabil has long struggled to get his "visionary" message across,
but is perpetually thwarted by a

strange, preferably incomprehensible articles, or who manifests a persistent,
extreme, and somewhat bizarre obsession"

I think all will agree Nabil matches this description to such a amazing degree
that one might think is was writen about *HIM* specifically.
