: : The essence of the matter Mr. Colin is that you subjected the TFN
: : book-keeping to fraud to satisfy selfish anti-social behaviour and a
: : crime to society.
: Documentation please. If you have any evidence of fraud or other criminal
: activity PLEASE present it to the appropriate law enforcement authorites,
: and I shall await their call. Further as Mr. Selk has audited the TFN
: books, you may wish to speak to the people who watch over accountants in
: Ontario. If you Nabil have such evidence and do not present it to the
: authorities you are an "accessory after the fact" a criminal code offence.
: I will not hold my breath waiting for your evidence in all of this, and I
: will suggest that Mr. Selk do likewise.
I do not need that, is not your post about what happened documentation
enough? As for authorities, I have tried that, I was told they are after
'big' frauds (in millions)...
: : If that is your ethics or the board's then many other things can and are
: : happening the same way.
: Huh? After claiming I have commited a crime, are you suggesting I might
: not have done anything wrong?
I am not suggesting 8^)
: : The TFN aspired to high social values that the current board is
: : shamelessly breaking at the expense of endangering the TFN in case of an
: : 'official' audit, not one done by a 'volunteer'.
: Huh? Mr. Peter Selk DID donate his services as auditor, or is FREE too
: expensive for you?
No, if he had the time to complete it with an inventory check. I do not
believe that part was done. Particularly the donations (in kind) received
last year.....
: : It is a great move however that you are admitting the mistake, may be
: : this way we can look at the problems and actually take some action about
: : it instead of the usual cover up procedures and attacking every one that
: : have the courage to mention it, by defamation and character assassination.
: What mistake?
Dah!!!!
: : My offer is still valid, I shall do a full-time job for a part-time
: : salary to take on Ed's responsibilities, WWW server included. As all
: : parties know the mutual mistrust between the board and myself, everybody
: : can be reassured that we are watching each others for any false move.
: : During my brief work in the office I have not only demonstarted how
: : better I interacted with members, but also brought in some of the
: : visitors to volunteer for TFN. During this brief period, I abstained from
: : answering badly to the most rediculous attacks in newsgroups (as long as
: : it came from a user and not from a fellow board member). After my inhuman
: : 'removal' I did not go out and publish the more incriminating attacks on
: : my person that is I hope are still part of the board mailing list
: : archives, just because I know that it is confidential. So, I have more
: : character and morals than many of the board members, irrespective of the
: : harm that was done not only to myself but to the people I represent (both
: : as an IP and as an elected board member).
: Nabil you showed yourself unable to work with any other office volenteers,
: you damaged TFN relations with Ryerson, you obtained property by false
: pretenses (claiming to be TFN office manager (while Ed Carrier held this
: post) to Ryerson, and thus obtainting a sub-master key), and you changed
: (while Ed Carrier went to the washroom) the office manager password
: without authorization. In other words we have had to devote more volenteer
: hours in cleaning up your mess than you ever put into "helping" the TFN.
Waow... like what volunteers. Ed. Carrier resigned starting December ??,
1996. This happened January, 1997. I did volunteer for the job in a legal
board meeting (I believe the second one after the elections, somewhere in
December 1996). I shall send a copy of this post to Ed. Carrier for his
comments, may be it will clear the picture for you (and again may be not,
though you can check the documentation). On the 8th, Ed Carrier never
showed at the office, I was given a copy of the key. I changed the
password in the evening of the 8th just before heading to the meeting.
The new password was sent by phone to Ed himself in the morning of
January the 9th. I had all the authorization I needed as a board member,
Treasurer and the Office Manager. Fact of the matter is that Ed Carrier
who sent the list of authorized persons to the Ryerson Security Office,
actually did not include his name at all in that list. Please do not try
to change history of things that are easily documented....
: Now you have the gall not only to ask for control of the office, but to be
: paid for this. Quite bluntly Nabil hell will have to have been frozen over
: solid for a LONG time before you are seriously consided for any
: responsible post with in the TFN. Quite simply we do not have enough
: volenteers (or money to pay for the people) to babysit you and keep the
: TFN safe from the sort of trouble you have shown yourself so capable of
: creating.
Hahahaha... The trouble is of your own planning and creation, as
documentation as early as after the announcement of the results of the
elections (this is regarding me personally), and the designs regarding
the TFN which are now almost near fruition for TFCN, but you have been
warned about what I shall do. All nonesense aside you know I follow
through my believes regardless of risks or threats to myself.
The sort of trouble you are subjecting the TFN to is far greater than any
harm the whole membership can make...
: : I still believe that you are so hate-filled that you do not know a
: : helping hand when you see one. I am offering the TFN a way out of the
: : current crisis that would actually mean no member donations, unless of
: : course that is the way you like it.
: I know what helping hands look like, yours isn't one of them. What I do
: see is an nasty child like person who will dammage what ever will not give
: him what he wants. As for that last line Nabil, if that is a threat Nabil,
: then publish and be dammed.
<shaking in fear>I have been cursed</shaking in fear>. You would not know
a helping hand even if it struck you in the face... I am glad that this
seems final... Now I do not have to worry about the things you could have
done to destroy me, had the board accepted my suggestion.... I had
expected that, you do want the TFN to fall down, you wouldn't do anything
that would actually may give a hope for its survival. Most probably you
will keep Geoff at the office so as to make sure that no one donates to
the TFN, not to mention what may happen to such donations if they do come...
Oh, yes... I do understand the importance you are hanging on the office,
particularly the WWW server....
Of course as the AGM is coming, may be it would be a good time to put an
end to all that through a democratic motion...... i.e. if the TFN
survives that long.
Sincerely,
Nabil

: : : : Actually Jordan, Geoffrey Gies was given $500 as an honorarium. It is not
: : : : the amount - which was not announced - that matter, but rather the way it
: : : : was given to him, so as he wouldn't have to declare it to social services.
: : : First of all the position taken by the board was that we wanted to thank
: : : Geoffrey for the months of solid, reliable, volenteer work Geoffrey has
: : : put it. While the money did not and does not exist to to pay Geoffrey a
: : : salary for what he did, it was thought something a little more solid than
: : : a pat on the back should be done. So the idea of an honorarium came up.
: : : Futher in a modest effort to avoid controversy the decision was made to
: : : give Geoffrey the money but not to make any noise about it.
: : : The board asked Geoffrey how we wanted the honorarium paid, knowing that a
: : : lump sum payment might cause difficulty for Geoffrey. The board went with
: : : an arangement that was acceptable to Geoffrey Gies. The rest is STRICTLY a
: : : matter between Geoffrey and Social Services. My employeer doesn't review
: : : how I fill out my yearly tax return (as it is none of their business), and
: : : I don't ask volenteers about their finacial arangements as that is none of
: : : MY business.
