I didn't know that Jason Black's account had been terminated. Isn't he the one who posted "another rant by a man-hating cunt" in reference to Karen Gordon's post? Other than that I've not seen any posts by him. I think he sent me email about my post in the thread Rape Proclivity Among Males - FISH IS MORE RELEVANT, commenting on it being controversial. The email is still in my CCN files. > As to whether either termination was fair, I don't know. Each instance > stinks (IMHO) for different reasons despite my strong feelings of > distaste for the posts of either person You say that you have strong feelins of distaste for my posts, but do not have any feelings of distaste for YOUR posts in alt.tasteless.jokes in which you demean and degrade women!!! And seemingly do not have distaste for YOUR posts in these newsgroups making light of rape, making rape a joke. So much for your taste/distaste. > but it does raise the question > of whether or not a company (or a freenet) can moderate the content of > their subscribers posts. Still waiting for a court case to decide. That doesn't apply to my case, according to CCN. CCN stated that I did not break the rules of the User Agreement, stated that my account was not terminated because of "content". And some of the CCN Board members who terminated my account now want to make "personal" donations (money) to help me pay for my new ISP. What do you think of that Gordon? Barbara A. Amero
