Why wasn't I able to get money out of the members or corporations?

Maybe because the previous board managed to concentrate *all* power unto 
themselves, and refusing to delegate any to the paid staff.

Perhaps because Mr. Gosschalk was running a full frontal assault on me, 
and actively hampering any efforts I made to fundraise.

As for the "Spanish inquisition," you may well ask Colin McGregor, who 
spearheaded the action against you, contacted our lawyer and personally 
phoned me to make sure that your account was blocked. As I recall, Colin 
was quite put out that it took more than 24 hours from him mentioning it 
to myself and the TFN president -- he suggested that action the same day 
would have been appropriate. As for me, I realy didn't care what you 
posted, but the board made its decision, sent its orders and I followed 
'em. 

"Incompetent, conniving, fractious and dunder-headed" are pretty good 
descriptions of a number of the previous TFN board. There were some good 
people who were unfairly smeared, however...people who did try to keep 
the TFN going despite the insanity.

:  bullshit! The people who were directly
:  responsible for this mess should hang
:  their heads in shame and *never* shopw
:  their miserable faces in this forum
:  again unless it is in humility and
:  apology! Last comment indeed! Wish Mr.
:  Anderson and his insane collegues from
:  the last TFN hierarchy would have chimed
:  out of the discussion years ago!

:  clear support behind the new board
:  without hesitation. And the TFN DOOMSDAY
:  clock has just been turned back for
:  those of you who care. If only because
:  damn fools like Anderson think it's all
:  over. I always believe the opposite of
:  what they say... so the future of TFN
:  looks brighter today than yesterday.
