VCN and all other "Freenets" are private entities; they're not elected parties

VCN can terminate accounts for any reason at all that doesn't conflict with
existing laws.  In your case, their termination of your account WAS in itself
an attempt to comply with one of our nation's laws that YOU had been breaking.
Be happy you're not in jail.  So you lost your free internet account... awww...
pity.  Go get one elsewhere, for money, and make sure you keep your contract
(once you're a paid-up member with a contract in-hand, then you have recourse
if you feel your rights have been subjugated.)
