This is just a reminder to visit any of the newsgroups torfree.general,
torfree.policy for heavy messages that will be posted shortly containing
incriminating details of the abuse of gts.torfree.net and csas.torfree.net
Of course you can do the same yourself by visiting any of the following
URLs - before they are erased -
http://gts.torfree.net/images/ (do not forget to see the subdirectories)
http://gts.torfree.net/sounds/ (just one more subdirectory; scw)
or the same urls, substituting gts with CSAS.
I do not know how many other directories are there, so please try
plausible combinations.
It is time to put a definite end to this farce...
And they complain about the effects on bandwidth any development on TFN
may have ;-)

I's my understanding that members of the Toronto Freenet board of
directors have agreed to stop reading Nabil's posts, which means they
won't be responding, either.

These site names are aliases for www.gts.org ... I suspect Bruce Becker
(it's his site) put them in to better receive TFN-related material as he
fulfils his CSAS role.

The subdirectories are access-protected. I'd be surprised if you say you
have been in there.

Well, yes, I'd go along with that. But, before you stop, what's the
point? A report on the contents of this site and its subdirectories is
given below.

Now you really have me baffled. Disk storage is not bandwidth. You
might create some bandwidth usage by telling people to go there, but
there's no bandwidth wastage just because something is sitting on a hard
drive.

gts.torfree.net seems to be the same site as http://www.gts.org
It contains only two links ...
[1]Can of Worms
[2][LINK]
Both links point to http://www.lglobal.com/~dmytrik/isolda, Dmytri
Kleiner's "What's NEW at Idiosyntactix" site, specifically referencing
the page which ahs Kleiners' "An Exploration Of The Writing of Kiddie
Porn" article, which has been posted several times on various newsgroups.
There are not other links at the gts home page; in particular, there are
no links to the /images or /sounds subdirectories.
If you should go directly to the /images or /sounds areas by directly
inputting the URL, you will find a fairly long list of files in each.
The /sounds area contains a collection of fairly standard sound effects;
dogs barking, bubbles bubbling, cuckoos cuckooing, roosters roosting,
rings ringing, trains training .. oops, I'm getting a bit off track on
thos last few. The usuall sounds that might be thrown into a multi
media thing.
There are about a hundred images in /images. Not all of them are viewable
with my viewers, and possibly could be encrypted. I looked at only a few,
and found nothing offensive there. Well .. there was a news picture of
Mike Harris, and I suppose some would think that obscenity.
There was a subdirectly with name "smut/" shown, but it was not accessible
without a password.
So: sorry, I'm to sure what the fuss is about. Can you be more specific?
Was it the picture of Mike Harris that set you off? Or is there some other
point to all this?
