I have one friend who has decided to make smoking unpopular
entirely on his own.  Thus, when asked 'smoking/non-smoking'
he says in a loud voice 'AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THOSE STINKING
HEATHENS AS YOU CAN GET ME'.

We usually get a table well away from the smokers . :-)
