I have to admit that I literally "breathe a sigh of relief"
whenever I'm in California and realize "I don't have to ask
for a table as far as possible from the smoke!*!*!" Here in
Houston, some places have a strange idea of how to separate
smoking from non-smoking...one place has split their dining
room in half lengthwise so you are never more than one or
two tables away from the smokers! The waiter said it was
so everybody could have an equal chance to be next to the
live band. Personally, I'd rather be able to breathe than
have to shout over C&W to talk to my dinner partner! Needless
to say, we haven't been back to that spot.>

Bon appetit--and here's wishing you clear air to breathe while
	you eat!
