I don't know about MTBE but you can sure smell the Ethanol!!

I hadn't paid much attention until reading this thread, but when I filled
up my Honda last night, I checked and had gotten a whopping 20 mpg. 
Trouble is, I'm not sure what I was getting before but I feel sure it was a
lot more that that!  I'll try Exxon next time.
