For those of you who are going to the Yes concert this weekend,
there is an extra added attraction for that show. The band,
Cloud 9, will be playing on the Plaza next to the concession
area prior to the Yes show. If you like Yes, you will probably
like Cloud 9.

Cloud 9, plays all original material with their own fusion
jazz/rock style. Made up of electric guitar (Graham Fry),
electric violin (Hollis Brown), Chapman stick (Wayne Leechford),
and drums (Francis Dyer), the band creates a unique sound
reflecting the eclectic experience brought to the band by the
members, which includes former members of Confessor, blackgirls,
and Mind Over Matter. The band has abit of a heavy edge, but at
the same time, uses delicately interwoven melodies and rhythms
making for a richly textured sound.

Cloud 9 is playing this week in the Triangle area on:

        Sunday, August 14th
          On the Plaza
               at
          Walnut Creek

So, come on out early for the show on Sunday and take advantage of
the opportunity to catch a great local band prior to Yes.
