Yup, Nortel is the new name. Nortel pulled off a rather large ad in the Wall Street Journal recently to announce the name change (as did McGraw Hill, but their name change was less significant: from Inc. to Cos.) Anyone notice that more than a few companies seem to be adopting the same earth-from-space logo lately? McDonnell Douglas has had it for ages; GM's Saturn came along, Cable & Wireless, and now the rest of the telecommunications world is following suit: Nortel, GTE....
