                   LAUNC-CH Annual Conference
                         March 15, 1993
             Friday Center for Continuing Education
                      9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

     The Librarians' Association at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill (LAUNC-CH) announces its Annual Conference,
to be held March 15, 1993 at the Friday Center for Continuing
Education in Chapel Hill.  The title of the conference will be:
"Total Quality Communication:  Can We Talk?"  Participants will
hear a variety of dynamic speakers address issues of communication
in management, communication through electronic technology, and
communication in the multicultural environment.  After registration
from 8:00 - 8:45 a.m., the program will begin with a keynote
address from Catherine Holderness of Salem College.  Workshops and
discussion sessions will follow, and the conference will end at
4:30 p.m.  Registration costs will be $25.00 for LAUNC-CH members,
$35.00 for non-members, $20.00 for students and retirees.  For
further information, contact Lula Avent, chair of the Conference
Committee, 962-1172.
