OK - It's over. Now what can we, as a group, do to forward the cause of the american people and establish unity and strength? ---dave--- +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ |J. Now what can we, as a group, do to forward the cause of >the american people and establish unity and strength? Perhaps we need some definitions. 1) What do you mean by "forwarding the cause of the American people"? Can the American people all be lumped together? I doubt there is one cause we'd all agree on. 2) Establish unity? One of the great things about this country is the lack of unity (diversity). What kind of countries have unity? Do we want to be like them? 3) Strength? Economic, political, religous, military or individual? Clinton got ~43% of the vote. Apparently 57% didn't agree with his agenda. Some of the news shows have been saying that Clinton is not going to have an easy time implementing his agenda, and part of the reason is the last sentence. I'm not trying to necessarily attack Clinton or the democrats; just remember there will be opposition. Not everyone who stays off the bandwagon is unpatriotic, wrong, evil, conservative, etc., etc. Perhaps "we, as a group,..." is my main beef here.
