Okay, having got a slightly positive response to the concept, I've been
asked to post definite information:

Basically, what I'm trying to do is set up another weekly event, like the
Wednesday dinner meetings run by Jon Austin (except that this one wouldn't
necessarily involve food...) We're getting into the summer months, now,
and I feel that a weekly trip to some physical activity, be it miniature
golfing, paintball, bowling, laser tag, or what-have-you, would be a good
thing. (I picked Monday night because, as far as I'm aware, there isn't
another triangle-singles event that uses (or has used) that night.) I'm
interested in doing something ... anything, really ... what I'm *not*
interested in is doing the same thing every week, so if you're not
interested in laser tag, or bowling, or whatever, that's okay - tell me
what *you're* interested in doing, and that's what we'll do. I'm easy to
please, I just want to get out of the apartment once a week and do
something besides eating out.

However, since the response so far has tended towards laser tag or
paintball as being a good thing to start with, next week (being Monday,
May 8th,) I and whoever's interested in running around like a maniac and
shooting people with zap guns will be at the corner of Creedmore and
Strickland at Ultrazone ("The Ultimate Laser Experience") at 6:30. If we
get six or more people, we can get three games (forty-five minutes worth
of combat) for $12 per person (and trust me, after forty-five minutes of
laser tag, you won't be interested in doing *anything* with the rest of
your evening besides, say, sleeping and trying to bring your heart rate
back below 180/minute...)

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for the 15th, you can bring them to
Ultrazone on Monday, or post, or email, or whatever. Let me know if
you're interested at all, even slightly....
