o This Wednesday, November 18, Karamarie Fecho will give a talk on two
  papers that deal with mechanisms of learning: "Convergence and
  Divergence in Neural Networks: Processing of Chaos and Biological
  Analogy" by Mpitsos and Burton, and "A Learning Rule Based on
  Empirically-Derived Activity-Dependent Neuromodulation Supports Operant
  Conditioning in a Small Network" by Raymond, Baxter, Buonomano, and
  Byrne.

o We meet in Sitterson Hall, conference area 284, at noon on Wednesdays.
  All are invited; bring your lunch.  If you are not on the TANNS e-mail
  list but would like to be (or vice versa), please let me know.
