 Re:   Next NCQADG Software Quality Meeting

The next NCQADG Software Quality meeting will be held on Friday
February 5 1993, at 9:30 AM at NIEHS auditorium room B, in RTP.
The meeting will include a presentation by Tom Droege on "Demings
14 Points and Software Development".

The talk will consist of an overview of Deming's theories with
practical application as they can apply to the entire software
development cycle, including the business aspects.  Thomas Droege is
president of Droege Computing Services, a local software development
company that develops custom applications for the healthcare industry.
Their software is in over 1000 sites in twenty countries.  He is also
active in the software roundtable, is publisher of the book 1000+ North
Carolina Software Developers and runs the international Developers
Competitions that are held in Durham, NC.  He is also one of the
co-founders of the Quality Roundtable of the Council for Entrepreneurial
Development.

   9:30 to 9:45  - Registration
   9:45 to 10:00 - Welcome and Announcements
  10:00 to 11:00 - Tom Droege on "Deming's 14 Points and Software
                   Development
  11:00 to 12:00 - Discussion
  12:00          - Lunch available in the NIEHS  cafeteria

prepare, please let me know if you will be staying for lunch.  Map on the
back.  Call for map if you need directions and you get this message by
email.
