January 28: Representatives from Alcatel Cable Systems will discuss how
they are evolving to self-directed teams at their Tarboro

             records along the way.

February 25: February's program will focus on quality issues in the health
care industry. Our speaker is Curt McGlocklin, Professor of
Business Administration at the Kenan-Flagler Business School
and Professor of Health at the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill. His talk is called "Involving Professionals in TQM:
Experience in Health Care," and will present finding from several
studies he has conducted with physicians and clinicians in TQM efforts.

Both programs will be held at the NC State Faculty Club with a social beginning
