looking for 2 bedroom house or apt to rent in durham, chapel hill
or carrboro area.

ideal: farmhouse, hardwood floors, porch and
rent not above $600. (yeah, we wish) apts in houses would be
grand also, or the old apt bldgs in durham similar to those
brick apt bldgs off east campus.

trying to avoid: apt complexes, condos, wall to wall carpeting,
fiberglass tubs. (ie the typical student housing
off duke west or practically anywhere near unc.)

we can live without: dishwasher, central air, jacuzzi, washer/dryer
                     (though of course we'ld *like* a w/d)

we are extremely responsible, perhaps a bit obsessively neat, grad
and professional adults. we have 1 very tame cat, and would happily
provide a pet deposit if necessary, as well as references.

since i'm at duke and my housemate works in chapel hill, we would
prefer to split the distance (if possible). we are not looking north
or east in durham, or south of chapel hill towards pittsboro or
southern parts of carrboro.

want to move june 1st, though for the right place we could wait as
long as august 1st. one year lease, probably longer.

if you have such a place or know of one, please contact me via email
or at 660-2854. thanks for helping us out!
