GENERAL JOB QUALIFICATION:


ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
  Chang-Jung Christian University, a branch of Chang-Jung Educational
Institution and a affiliation of the Presbyterian church in Taiwan, was
founded in 1993. It currently comprises of 11 departments, one 
independent master program, and about 3000 students. 
It will develop into a mid-size university with three colleges, in which
there will be 18 academic programs, and more than 6000 students by
the year 2000. The campus is located in a pleasant rural village that
adjoins Tainan and Kaushuing County. The Tainan airport and downtown areas
of Tainan, are all within a 25-miniute drive, and Kaoshuing are within an
hour's drive. Detailed information about the University is available from

About the Department: Our department was founded in 1993, and it currently
comprises of 7 full-time faculty. We offer an undergraduate program 
leading to a BBA, and the degrees of MBA, and MSBA will be offered in 
collaboration with the Graduate School of Business Operations and Management.

Job Qualifications: PhD graduates or candidates in International Business or 
related fields are wanted. Ph.D. graduates, or Ph.D. candidates who can 
complete their degree by January 31, 1997 will be qualified.

Job Description: A teaching load of at least 9 hours (12 hours generally)
per week in undergraduate (most likely) and graduate courses should be
expected. In addition, the candidate may be expected to share some
responsibility in the Department's administrative matters as well as
teaching night classes.

Application Procedures: Please submit: a) resume, b) graduate transcript, and
c) abstracts of dissertation, working papers and published papers to the 
Chairperson to be eligible. (Item c is optional)

Application Deadline: Foreign applications must be received by Dec 31,
1997. Early application is strongly encouraged.
